Here is a carnival-ass art-rock song that I have listened to approximately 10 times in the last 12 hours.

This is from 2019, and it is also from Nick Lutsko before he caught a new wave of popularity among the brain-rotten Twitter users of the world off of Trump Diaspora parody (your boy included). I was big into his recently explicitly political / explicitly deranged stuff, but I’m vibing quite hard to this maximalist circus music, which points less directly at the political targets and speaks more about the horror-show feel of modern American life. It’s no less political, but less textual specific (while still being, sub-textually, on the button).
